Product Pipeline

July 6, 2008

Drive Rite is proud to introduce the following products to what we offer:

• Hydraulic Lift Light Duty Brackets
• Hydraulic Lift Slab Brackets
• 8-5/8” Pipe Helical

“Each of these products have been developed to give our customers more tools for their tool box” says Drive Rite’s Fred Ford.

Fred went on to explain, “our ability to adapt the hydraulic lift products with our original designs should allow our customers to market heavier slab repair projects and lift the light duty piers at a lower cost than a traditional underpinning bracket.”

he 8-5/8” Pipe Helical has been developed after numerous discussions with installers in costal areas. Coastal building regulations dictate that a minimum 8” diameter pile is to be installed within 20 feet of the shoreline in some markets.

The 8-5/8” Pile joins the Drive Rite 45000 Series as the highest capacity helical products produced by Drive Rite. If you have applications that call for 8” or greater piles, contact us and we will be happy to help.

Successful Engineering Seminars

Mount Valley Foundation Services of Columbia, South Carolina, recently held four seminars around the state of South Carolina and near Augusta Georgia and Charlotte, North Carolina to reach over 150 engineers, architects and home inspection professionals. The seminar was spearheaded by Mount Valley’s senior technical advisor, Jim Mcleod.

Drive Rite’s consulting engineer, Bob Hoyt of Hoyt Engineering Associates, spoke at each of the four seminars in order to update experienced design professionals and introduce new design professionals to the Drive Rite Piering System products and the services of Mount Valley.

“Our ability to attract the design professionals around our service are is invaluable to our long term growth strategy” said Jim Mcleod. Jim went on to compliment Bob Hoyt’s knowledge and ability to connect with the engineering community. “Bob has a presence of professionalism and his presentations kept the attention of our attendees so much so that we ran over on time at each location during our question and answer sessions.”

We encourage any of our contractors to take a look at the possibility of doing something similar. Drive Rite’s web development and marketing teams have created promotional brochures and an online reservation system if you wish to utilize them. If you have any questions about setting up engineering seminars, please contact either Fred Ford (866) 525-6996 or Mike Wegman (877) 791-9070.
